FAMILY-ORIENTED VALENTINE PARTY TO BENEFIT PENINSULA FINE ARTS CENTER

PFAC Feb 2010

NEWPORT NEWS, Va.—Families can celebrate Valentine’s Day and support Peninsula Fine Arts Center at the same time with Love At First Sight!, an afternoon of art and activities hosted at Hampton Baptist Church, 1-3 pm, Saturday, Feb. 13.

One of the event hostesses, Nicole Stuart says, “Love at First Sight brings the family together in celebrating Valentine’s Day. You’ll be able to visit a number of hands-on art stations, with chances to sing, dance and snack along the way. The goal is for everyone to leave with a custom made Valentine’s Day card to give to whomever their heart holds dear.”

Children of all ages, their parents and grandparents can join in the Valentine’s Day art activities created by Pfac Art Educator Janet Rash. “The event provides guests with an opportunity to learn more about the great children’s programs and activities Pfac offers,” adds event hostess Jane Moore.

Love at First Sight is sponsored and hosted by Chris & Nicole Stuart and Tyler & Jane Moore. It is one in a series of Pfac’s Affairs of the Arts fundraising events scheduled through June.

Upcoming Affairs of the Arts events include a bridge luncheon, mother and daughter tea, French wine tasting evening and a progressive dinner at homes along the James River. For more information visit www.pfac-va.org
